The CFPS® certification is valid exactly for three years from the date of award. Candidacy requirements define the parameters on the basis of which an applicant shall be evaluated fit for applying for a particular certification.
Applicants for CFPS® should have a decent exposure to computer-use and have at least completed 14 years of formal education at the time of applying for CFPS®, with minimum 1 year of coursework in accounting. Typically, most CFPS® applicants worldwide complete their A-Level/O-Level/Higher Secondary/12th grade before applying.
